Lisa B. Corti, DVM, DACVS, CCRP
Dr. Corti earned her veterinary degree from Tufts University in 1994. She then completed
a one-year internship in medicine and surgery at Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital in
Springfield, MA. Dr. Corti remained at Rowley an additional two years during which she
developed a Canine and Feline Blood Bank. She then went on to complete a three-year residency
in surgery at Iowa State University in 2000. During this time Dr. Corti became PennHip
certified and certified to perform tibial plateau leveling osteotomies (TPLO). She became
board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2001. She was a staff surgeon
and intern director at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, New Jersey from
2000 to 2004 before joining InTown's Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in August
2004. She has been a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management since
its inception in 2004. Dr. Corti completed the University of Tennessee course in canine
rehabilitation and physical therapy in July 2005 and became certified in December 2006. Her special interests are in physical therapy, pain management, diagnosis
and treatment of canine hip dysplasia, surgical oncology, reconstructive surgery, and
canine and feline transfusion medicine.
